HOW TO ORDER:
Ensure your display stands tall at a height ranging from 8 to 10 feet, all without any extra cost. Tailor your screen with custom Velcro and/or a hem for the weight bar, adjusted based on the width of your screen. Opt for "loop" Velcro and we'll include the corresponding length of "hook" Velcro with your order. Screens measuring 10 feet and under boast 100% Eagle Screen quality. Should you require a taller screen exceeding 10 feet, we'll seamlessly add a black extension to the top.
We meticulously fold the material into a spacious shipping box. Once mounted, any folds will gradually vanish with the tension of the screen and a few days of hanging.
IMPORTANT!
Ensuring the integrity of the lower 2.5 inches of the screen is paramount, particularly guarding against ball impacts, often resulting from mishits with long irons or hybrids. If a ball collides with the 1.25-inch Aluminum Pipe, it may incur bending - a relatively minor setback as the pipe can be easily restored to its original shape manually. However, a strike targeting the upper edge of the bar or just above it, precisely at the hem seam line, poses a more significant risk, potentially causing tearing along the seam line.
Consider these strategies to shield the lower 2.5 inches of the screen from ball strikes:
- To ensure a smooth transition under your turf flooring where the screen hangs, consider installing a gentle incline using EVA foam exercise tiles. This ramp, spanning about 12-18 inches, should seamlessly blend with the turf while supporting the screen's base.
- Creating a ramp beneath the grass can also be accomplished using a wire closet shelf available at Home Depot. Opt for those measuring 12 inches in width, 1.75 inches in height on one end, and extending up to 12 feet. These shelves can be easily trimmed to the desired length using a hacksaw and secured together using duct tape if multiple pieces are required.
- If you lack turf or if your floor is fully turfed or carpeted, preventing the creation of the ramp as described in step #1, an alternative approach is required. In such cases, you'll have to place something soft in front of the bottom weight bar. Effective options include "Door Draft Stoppers" (available on Amazon, usually 36” in length, so you may require multiple pieces), "Gutter Foam" or "Gutter Stuff" (triangular lightweight foam, available on Amazon or at Home Depot, typically 48” long - can be connected using tape or by sewing a sleeve to hold them together).
- Arrange a few lightweight blankets, like fleece, either folded or rolled, to place in front of the bar.
- We're able to craft personalized black foam wedges specifically designed to conceal the bar.
